Birgit Stocker’s collages are not meant to remain in a private archive; they are professionally marketed and can be found all over the world. Her entire body of work is showcased on Instagram (be_collage), on TikTok (@be_collage). Indeed, Birgit is highly active across social networks.
She does not yet have a gallery representation—her home itself serves as her gallery. “My pictures are hung everywhere in my apartment, but space is slowly running out, and some pieces now have to be stored externally,” she explains. Stocker would gladly collaborate with a gallerist, though the right partner has not yet appeared. Proximity is not essential: “I believe there is a market for colorful and flamboyant art in Dubai, the USA, or India.” To date, she has not held any solo exhibitions.
In August 2023, Birgit Stocker participated in the ART-BOX.PROJECT in Zurich, and later that December she was also represented at an ARTBOX project at the Mana Convention Center in Miami, USA. Her work has already attracted international attention: NY Arts Magazine has featured a substantial article highlighting her art.

Fresh, colorful, feminine, and unmistakably different – this is how Birgit Stocker defines her art, now celebrated across the globe. “My art is my elixir of life,” she affirms, and it is within this creative universe that she fully immerses herself.
Her practice revolves around dazzling, kaleidoscopic collages that shimmer with vibrancy. These works extend beyond the canvas, finding new life on everyday objects such as bags and clothing, while the originals are meticulously applied to canvas and enriched with layers of paint. In Stocker’s hands, the ordinary becomes extraordinary, infused with sparkle, color, and a distinctly personal vision.
Future Directions
Birgit Stocker will continue to produce new collages, drawing inspiration from a wide range of sources. She intends to pursue a dual path, creating collages both for canvases and for everyday objects. While her canvas works demand significant time and care, bags or jackets are produced with brand and business considerations in mind.
Her ambitions extend far beyond: “I can imagine Rihanna carrying a bespoke handbag with my prints, or Burna Boy wearing a T-shirt as a stage outfit. I’ve already reached out to some artists. And hey, I can of course sell my original canvas babies too—if the price is right.”
